Chrome steel balls are usually used for ball bearings and ball screws. For aerospace requirement, we use AMS material and the heat treatment is certified.
We are also able to supply industrial balls for various application : ball bearing, ball screw, linear guides, grinding beads, etc.
Steel balls for bearings are generally made from chrome steel.
High precision low noise AISI 52100 chrome steel balls are a good example and they are
used in situations where reduced noise levels and tolerance are required.
Many steel balls for bearings such as AISI 52100 100 Cr6 have a hardness of between
60 - 66 and ultimate compressive strength of 2500 - 2600 although 100CrMn6
chrome steel balls are a good alternative when a higher core strength is required.
